Doing my first craft fair today. It’s super nerve-wracking to be sat behind a table showcasing my work. I’m feeling weirdly vulnerable and exposed. But craft fairs were part of the plan for 2026 and so here I am.

I was up til about 1am last night (this morning?) getting thigns ready, after weeks and weeks of building stock and putting a thousand other little things in place. Even then I have that panic and anxiety that rises up and says “don’t do it”. It feels like everything has been on pause leading up to today. I’m looking forward to cleaning my house (I do believe that’s the first time I’ve ever said that 🤔) and having a day of doing nothing (I say this one pretty regularly).

I’m hoping that as I do more of these, they’ll become easier and less daunting. I hope to learn to be more prepared and organised, and more confident being here. And someday soon, they will be just another day in the life of this maker.
