I’m Yvonne, the designer and maker behind
Paz & Norris.

Everything is made by hand, one at a time in my tiny studio in Sheffield using traditional techniques.

I am forever fascinated by texture and colour, and have an appreciation for lines and shapes, uniform or organic, and the way these interact with each other.

I favour simplicity and trust in the beauty of the materials to speak for themselves, whether this is the warm softness of wood, the cool brightness of metal, or the undeniable inherent beauty of gemstones.

I am passionate about artisanship and have a deep appreciation for the time-honoured skills and knowledge that have been passed down through generations to keep these traditional techniques alive.

I create pieces that are made to last, using materials and processes that are kind to the environment. I make intentional designs that will not be a casualty to trends or the fast and disposable manner in which we now live.

I am extremely careful about the impact I have on the planet and its people. All my materials come from ethical and reputable sources, recycled wherever possible.
